iAL Payout Program
Now you can get paid for your streams! This payout program will allow you to get paid for having your fans stream your music on iAL Music! Just like in real life how artist get paid per stream they receive, we want you all to get that same experience, get paid for your hard work streaming and make your music being on iAL worth it! Your music has to be submitted to the iAL Music site in order for you to take part in this program, you also have to ENROLL in this program to get the benefits.

Your fans stream or purchase your music on iAL Music
We pay you 8 credits per stream & 12 credits per purchase & Pre - Orders get 12 credits per order
Featured artist will get HALF of what the song their featured in makes.
You will get paid 1,000 credits per iAL Fan subscription. So each time a fan signs up for iAL Fan Space and chooses you as their favorite artist, you will get paid 1,000 credits.
Once you've reached 4,000 credits in streams you can cash out!

Why do you all take 20% of what I make?
We want you all to get the MOST out of being an IMVU artist, we want to give you the real life experience of what it's like to be an artist. In real life if an artist is signed to a label the record label takes a percentage (10%-25%) of what they make from streams, sales, etc. Even an independent artist still get a percentage of what they make taken from them (up to 25%) depending on their distributor of their music how even the streaming service. You have to lose money to make money sometimes.
How will I know when it's time for me to cash out or close to time for me to cash out when you guys don't tell me my numbers?
We will send out a curtsey message letting you know once you've reached the Payout minimum to cash out or if you're getting pretty close we will also send you a curtsey message to inform you of where you're at.
Do I have to cash out as soon as I hit 4,000 credits?
No, you're more than welcome to keep letting it build up. However, once you've reached 10,000 we will automatically pay you out and you will start over from zero, with your payout amount NOT with your streams.
Why is the amount I get per stream so low?
In real life artist only get paid about 0.006 or 0.025 per stream, so they're not getting paid very much either. So even if someone hits 1 million streams they can get about 50,000$ USD. Just think of it as I'm getting paid regardless.
Why do I have to wait until I hit 4,000 streams to cash out?
This way the Owner of iAL doesn't have to constantly send out small amounts of credits to people and take away from the credit transfer limit or even have to chat into IMVU just to send a small amount.
If I'm an iAL Exclusive Artist, will you all still take a percentage of my royalties?
If you're an iAL Platinum Exclusive Artist, we will not take a percentage. However if you're only a Gold Exclusive Artist we will take a percetage. Please contact your Music Agent about upgrading to Platinum and how it will work for you!
If I'm signed to a label, will my label get some of my royalties?
Yes and No, if your label uploads the music for you, they will get a percentage of your royalties OR if your label signs ups for their artist to receive 100% of their royalties based on the contract that iAL and the Label agree to then the label will determine that information as well. However, if you upload on your own then they will not get any amount of your royalties UNLESS they come to iAL with a contract about their artist and royalties.
Is there a certain time of the day that I can cash out?
Once you hit the amount to cash out, you can only cash out on Saturday & Sunday between 9am-9pm EST.
